The transport out to the Cu Chi Tunnels was smooth and scenic, seeing the rice paddies was a nice contrast to the city. Crawling through a small part of the tunnels really gives you a feel for how cramped it must have been. The boiled tapioca snack was surprisingly good!
Seeing the actual bomb craters was sobering, and the traps they showed were clever. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the Viet Cong's tactics.
Crawling through a small section of the tunnels was intense, makes you appreciate the history and ingenuity. The guide explained the Hoang Cam stove really well.
