Escape to the cool heights of Doi Inthanon National Park, the northern tip of the Himalayan mountain range. Your journey begins at the highest point in Thailand, where the air is crisp and the forest is draped in ancient moss and ferns. After a quick stroll on the boardwalks of the Ang Ka Nature Trail, you will proceed to the highlight of the day: the Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail. This 3-kilometer loop is led by a local Hmong guide who shares the secrets of the "cloud forest." You will transition from dense, moisture-soaked jungle into a wide, golden sub-alpine meadow. As you walk along the narrow mountain ridge (the "Kew"), you are rewarded with panoramic vistas that stretch across the valley. The trail also offers a unique perspective of the Twin Royal Pagodas—dedicated to the late King and Queen—standing majestically against the mountain backdrop. After your trek, enjoy a visit to the powerful Wachirathan Waterfall, where the spray creates a permanent mist over the lush surroundings, before returning to the city.
