The Full Day Elephant Jungle Sanctuary program offers the most comprehensive look into the lives of rescued elephants in Northern Thailand. This experience is designed for those who want to move beyond a quick visit and truly immerse themselves in the sanctuary’s mission of conservation and care. Located deep in the forest-covered hills, the sanctuary provides a sprawling natural habitat where elephants can socialize and forage freely. Your day begins with a scenic drive into the mountains, followed by a warm welcome from the local Karen guides. After changing into traditional mahout clothing, you’ll spend the morning bonding with the herd through feeding and observation. After a delicious Thai buffet lunch, the adventure continues with a guided jungle trek, following the elephants as they navigate their natural environment. You’ll learn about the medicinal plants they eat and the unique social dynamics of the herd. The afternoon is dedicated to the famous "Elephant Spa"—a playful mud bath followed by a refreshing wash in a natural river. To conclude the day, you’ll trek to a secluded waterfall for a swim, perfectly rounding off a day dedicated to nature and ethical wildlife interaction.
