It was okay, the private boat was nice but Koh Hey itself was pretty busy even on a weekday. Snorkeling was decent though, saw some bright coral.

Loved having the whole longtail boat to ourselves. The water was so clear and we saw some really vibrant coral and a turtle even! Our guide pointed out the best snorkeling spots.
The private longtail boat to Koh Hey was exactly what we wanted to escape the crowds. Our captain took us to a quiet spot near Banana Beach and the snorkeling was amazing, saw so many colorful fish right off the boat.
