The Cu Chi tunnels were intense, really gives you a sense of what people went through. Our guide explained everything well, and seeing the Independence Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral in the afternoon was a good contrast.
It was a lot of walking and the tunnels were quite crowded. The guide was knowledgeable, but the Ben Thanh Market stop felt rushed and was only an optional thing.
Really enjoyed the mix of history and city sights. The traditional Vietnamese lunch was delicious and a good break before seeing the Independence Palace.
